How we connect to your Amazon Seller account.
Flip IQ Batch uses Amazon's official Selling Partner API (SP-API). You authorize us through Amazon's own OAuth flow — we never see your password, and you can revoke access at any time from Seller Central.
Scopes we request
Product Listings (read)
To verify ASINs, confirm sellability, and detect restricted categories per marketplace.
Pricing (read)
To pull Buy Box, FBA/MFN offer signals, and competition data per ASIN.
Inventory (read)
Optional. Lets us flag products you already stock so you don't re-buy them.
Catalog (read)
To enrich rows with title, brand, category and dimensions.
How to revoke our access
Revocation is one click and takes effect immediately. You don't need to talk to us first, and you don't need to cancel your Flip IQ Batch account separately.
What happens after you revoke
- We immediately stop calling SP-API on behalf of your seller account.
- Our stored refresh token is destroyed and the LWA grant is invalidated.
- All of your Amazon-sourced data is purged from primary storage within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within 90 days, using NIST SP 800-88r1 methods.
- Files you uploaded (supplier catalogs) and your account data are retained until you delete the account or request deletion separately at privacy@flipiqbatch.com.
Why we mention this so prominently
Amazon has strict rules about how third-party tools handle Seller data. We list our scopes, our retention, and our deletion policy in plain language because if you're building an Amazon business, you deserve to know exactly what's happening to your data.
